When you submit files…
Submit the high resolution "jpeg" files. Your digital camera will generate, up to a maximum of 30MB. The Revopix.com will not accept files larger than 20MB.
"Web optimized" images of 200KB or less generally are insufficient for high-quality editing - and rarely create acceptable quality prints. In most cases, we will reject images lower than 200KB.
When you scan files…
- JPEG must be smaller than 10MB.
- JPEG should have minimal compression or high quality (“Best Quality” or Photoshop “11” or “12” compression is good).
- Refer to below grid for correct scanning resolution (DPI) to achieve your desired print size.

- Always make sure the bed of your scanner and your photograph is clean and free of fingerprints, dirt and hair. This can save you money in the long run.
- When possible, always scan from a negative. This provides the best image quality.
- Scan black and white drawings in "grayscale" NOT "bitmap" or "line art."
- Be careful NOT to scan the entire scanner flatbed. Only scan your image. This can be done in your scanning program by clicking and dragging a box around your image.
- When placing an order, let us know your desired print size, even if you don’t order prints with us. This way we can assure we have the best digital copy for the job.
